Mavin awarded cyber security accreditation Cyber Essentials.
In August following a process of in depth self assessment, Mavin became officially certified with the Cyber Essentials cyber security certification. Cyber Essentials is a simple but effective, Government backed scheme that helps protect organisations from a range of the most common cyber attacks. The Certification gives companies and bodies employing Mavin’s IT, DataCentre and MPP Procurement Portal services additional peace of mind, knowing we have the right cyber security measures in place.
Mavin Director Russell Bartley said “The certification process was really useful in highlighting both strengths and potential weaknesses in our processes. We take our cyber security very seriously and have a responsibility to our clients to ensure we have the right measures in place to protect our systems. This certification ensures we have examined and implemented appropriate strategies to achieve this.”
